Behind The Scenes
23/06/08 8:49 am

Hello!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, we have been looking over some of the underlying components within the system and been re-designing certain functionality. As very few bugs have been reported recently we have not had to rush out many new revisions.

We will be hoping to add a new patch within the next few weeks that will add some new content as well as adding some new features ready for future patches. We are also researching ways to make some of the system more fluid as well as more fun!

We are on the lookout for some decent actionscripters at the moment, so if you think you have what it takes, take a look at the Join Us section and shoot us an email or send a message to RDissonant or Grofit within the forums.

Brief Update
17/05/08 2:29 pm

Since the v0.10.0 patch we have tried to fix the majority of outstanding issues.

Behind the scenes we are adding some more content for the next patches as well looking into newer features for the game, although some of them are going to take a while to implement.

If you have any issues or comments please let us know in the forums, i would expect us to apply a small content patch within the next few weeks so keep your eyes out for new quests and creatures!

Test Server Back Online
27/04/08 9:04 pm

We have finally gotten around to implementing the v0.10 patch on Uldervei.

Although we have done alot of private testing on the latest version we are expecting a few small bugs to creep through into the system. So please keep your eyes out and report any problems you recieve in game.

Alot of the newer content for this patch is aimed at the higher levels (8+) although we are planning on adding some new lower level areas in the next patch. We will be keeping and eye on drop rates as well over the next week to make sure the new changes to the drop mechanics keep item drops fair. Remember that rare drops are called that for a reason!

Next Patch (v0.10.0)
14/04/08 8:33 am

We are already underway with the next patch to the game, although we are unsure as to how many of the updates we WANT to put in will be able to make it in time. We were planning on keeping the previous patch as part of this up and coming one however we decided that it would be better to split it out into 2 seperate patches.

We are making some changes behind the scenes to items and requirements, as well as adding alot of detail into the spawn systems and area linking systems, which will allow us alot more flexibility with server events and other dynamic elements on the servers.

We will ideally be making some changes to the NPC system and how you can interact with them, however this and some other functionality is still unconfirmed for this next patch. We will add details to the patch notes once we have decided on the contents. Even if this patch doesnt contain everything we want, there will be alot of smaller patches coming after it.

Travelling System Changes & Optimizations
07/04/08 5:58 pm

We will soon be applying the latest patch (v 0.9.16). The major changes in this patch relate to the travelling system, as we will be opening up local travel, which we we previously not going to implement for a few patches.

The local travel will open up certain hidden areas as well as new content for players to find. There will also be some optimizations on our backend system which will allow some sections of the system to load slightly quicker.

If you missed out on the previous patch, we have recently added a Friends/Foe list, so you will be able to keep track of players who have caught your attention, as well as sending mail in game to other players. The mail system is only in its first implementation at the moment and will be improved upon at a later patch, however keep your eyes open for server mails letting you know of in-game information or events.

If you have any Questions or Suggestions relating to the current patches or anything relating to the game, let us know. We are always interested in hearing from the community!
